Merging accounts

Hi,

I've been trying to merge Ziggo & Vodafone accounts to no success. I can log into Ziggo. When I try to log into Vodafone it keeps telling me my account is not verified, sends me an email (from Ziggo!) and then says it's not good, the link doesn't work anymore (but it was sent seconds ago).

I already tried via Vodafone customer service but they have no clue. Please help, I can't access anything for vodafone. Can you link the accounts manually?

I think it's best if a moderator comes over to this thread to see what's going wrong.

Ziggo moderators usually visit each topic within one working day (between Monday and Friday).

💡 So that a Ziggo moderator knows who you are and where you live, it is important that you enter your zip code and house number in your profile page. Of course, these address details are only visible to a Ziggo moderator.

How strange that you can't use the Vodafone portal in combination with MijnZiggo. Could you please add your zip code and house number under your profile so that I can check everything over here for you? 🙂

Alright! So I see that there is a Ziggo account active over here. But there is no Vodafone account linked to that account. You can't expand the MijnZIggo account with a Vodafone account? What kind of notification do you get? @aa1908

To link accounts I try to go to Vodafone to the page to login and link accounts. I get the screen below on the Vodafone page (1st image) after I try to login saying my email hasn't been verified. I click to verify, the service then sends me an email (which comes from Ziggo, not Vodafone), I click to activate the email and I get the 2nd screen which says it cannot activate the email address and to try again. It's pretty much a loop from there. I can't get into Vodafone at all and can't link the accounts. I can get into Ziggo only.

I looked into your settings and accounts, let's first focus on the Mijn Ziggo-part: According to my information, this one hasn't been verified yet indeed. In that case, it makes sense you received a mail from us. I just manually send you one again, could you check if that one works? If we manage to get your Mijn Ziggo up and running, adding My Vodafone will be the next step.

(If it doesn't work, try opening the verifiy-link in an incognito-page, to rule out cached data)

Nope it did not work. Sent myself the email again but still does not work either in normal chrome or incognito.

Same error.

We kunnen het e-mailadres niet bevestigen. De link in de e-mail werkt niet (meer).

Hi @aa1908, Hmmm how frustrating! We have a malfunction with this, I will forward your data to the IT department. This way they can include your example in the research. I just can't give a resolution time. This means that you unfortunately have to wait until the problem is solved.

Have you recently re-tried to activate the account? Has it worked allready? In that case we know if the issue has been solved or still active.

First logon into My Ziggo and press the button account uitbreiden and then choose Vodafone toevoegen

Thank you! It finally seems to have worked. I'll let you know if I have any issues but it should be ok. Thank you thank you, it took forever for the system to work but i'm glad it's working!
