      <title>Modem blinking with red light! DS scanning error</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;Hello all, I recently moved to a new house and opted for a Ziggo internet connection for the same. I checked on the Ziggo website with my post code and it said that Ziggo was available for my address. I received the modem and coax cable and tried installing it however I keep getting a red light blinking on the modem and the error in the gateway says as DS internet scanning error. Not really sure what it means. I tried restarting the modem and reattaching the coax cable however it doesn't change anything.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;The port for the coax cable was available inside my house. The previous tenant however had KPN internet so does it have anything to do with this?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;A technician is going to come and check it on Wednesday next week however I'm trying myself to make sure there is nothing wrong on my part.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Continuous DS scanning indicates no signal. The main cable is likely no longer connected inside the street cabinet, the technician will reconnect the cable if necessary. This is completely unrelated to KPN, they use separate infrastructure.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To rule out a problem you can correct: could you post one or more pictures of the main coax outlet ('AOP') inside the meter cupboard or living room, including any splitter(s) and/or signal amplifier ('versterker')?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Glad to read there's a technician coming over next Wednesday to make sure everything works &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":ietwat_lachend_gezicht:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
