Keeping my number and renewing my subscription

Hello,

Before, I had made another question about how to cancel my subscription and keep my number if I switch companies. However, I decided to continue using my current Vodafone subscription that can be cancelled monthly. The problem is that I already filled the form for the termination of the contract, and I do not know if I can cancel it, or if I should renew it after it is terminated.

Lastly, I would really like to keep my current number. If I renew it before it is terminated, or shortly after, can I conserve it, or recover it if not?

For more information, my contract ends in December the 1st, so the question is if I cannot cancel the termination of the contract, if I could renew it within a few days and still conserve my number.

Hi @joaquin.Farina How nice that you decided to stay with us! I looked into your details and your cancellation is not currently visible in our systems. If you would like to renew your subscription, you can do so without any problems. You will of course keep your current number. If you would prolong your subscription today, for example, then the start date is today and any cancellation will be overruled.

Hello, Judith! Sorry for the late reply.

I have indeed decided to stay for a while more, but I was hoping you could help me with something in that regard: I am currently not in the Netherlands, so I would like to pay for a monthly bundle that I could use and worked in the UK as well, so that on the time before I go back, I can keep using my data and communicate.

I think these are the monthly bundles offered by Vodafone (As in, they last a month and then I have to renew them, but I am not in a 1 year subscription) and I wanted to know if one, or all, an be used in the UK without additional charge. In case it isn't, I cannot find the subscription I am currently using, which according to what I understood, is viable in the uk and at the same time, is a monthly subscription. Is there a way for me to keep it?

As my contract is terminated on the 1st of December, I would be thankful for any advice you could give me 🙂

Due to absence i'm taking over the topic of my colleague Judith 🙂

The month bundles you reference to, are only available for prepaid sim's. Since you have a Sim only subscription it isn't possible to change to prepaid bundles.

Your current bundle Red can also be used within the UK with a limited databundel. Just take a look at our website for the full terms and conditions.

Thank you for clarifying. In that case, how do I continue my red subscription in a monthly basis? I don’t want to enter a 1 year subscription, and prefer to have freedom and flexibility in that regard .

i had already filled a cancellation form for December the 1st, how do I cancel it to keep using my red bundle?

Well thanks @joaquin.Farina I just informed my colleagues from the cancellation department that you don't want to cancel the subscription.

For now you don't have to do anything. We will just proceed your current subscription with a month, untill you extend your contract again for 1 or 2 years 🙂

So for now, nothing to do 🙂 Just enjoy your stay in the UK!

I've recently saw a bunch of videos with the Christmas/holiday vibes in the UK, especially London. What a vibe 😮 I hope you enjoy your stay over there.

Just to be clear then: my subscription is continuing, but I can cancel and terminate the contract/switch companies/etc with a month in advance, without having to pay an additional? And it is a month-to month service?
