* Bij internet zonder VPN goede snelheid 220/19

Bobxx Ik gebruik zelf het PPTP/L2TP protocol en ervaar geen problemen, misschien kan je daar eens mee testen.
Ik lees dat OpenVPN wel vaker traag is en dan moet je met de MTU parameters aan de slag waar ik niet veel van weet.

Heb de VPN nu op L2TP gezet en die laat toch wat sneller sommige sites door. Maar toch bij andere nog steeds host vast stellen en wachttijd. Bedankt zo ver!

Je kan natuurlijk wel met de MTU settings testen, zie

Hoe traag is trager? En hoe heb je het opgezet? OpenVPN is encrypted. Die encryptie maakt het meestal trager.
PPTP/L2TP is een stuk onveiliger, dus dat zou ik persoonlijk niet doen....

Toch weer terug gezet naar OpenVPN wat Cyberghost ook aanbeveeld. Volgens even een test gedaan met tcp optimizer en geeft toch aan MTU 1500. Voor zo ver dat ik alles snap.
En als het encrypted is dat zal het wel langer duren met sommige sites.
