    <description>&lt;P&gt;Update: the network technician came today. The problem was indeed a defective cable outside the building. Maybe it was damaged in the big storm we had just before the problem started. In any case, the defective part was replaced, and I now have 6 upstream channels with power 46-47&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;dBmV. So, it seems to have worked.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks for your help in pinpointing the problem, it made things go efficiently!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Internet not working - "access denied" in connect box</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Good morning,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My internet has worked perfectly until this morning, I can connect to the modem by wifi or cable, but I have no internet access either way. The wifi light is on, but the connection light is blinking. When I access the status of my Connect Box, under "internet" it says "access denied".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Your website does not indicate any problems in my area. I have tried to unplug and restart the modem, but without success. My access point was checked and replaced by a Ziggo technician last summer, and has worked flawlessly until this morning, so I don't think this is the problem; but I attach a photo anyway.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have any idea of what might be happening? Thank you in advance for your help!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PS: this is the information I get from the modem (note the network log dates reset to January       <description>&lt;P&gt;I put a photo of the access point in the original post (it's in the living room), but I put it here again. I had a splitter, but I removed it and it didn't solve the problem. The access point was replaced by a Ziggo technician last September.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No, this is most certainly not normal. Since you are in a former UPC area (judging by the carrier frequency of the one locked channel), &lt;STRONG&gt;6&lt;/STRONG&gt; ATDMA channels must be locked. The modem is currently operating in 'partial bonding' mode. Furthermore, the power level is completely out of spec due to excessive attenuation, this should be ~40 dBmV.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Update: the network technician came today. The problem was indeed a defective cable outside the building. Maybe it was damaged in the big storm we had just before the problem started. In any case, the defective part was replaced, and I now have 6 upstream channels with power 46-47&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;dBmV. So, it seems to have worked.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks for your help in pinpointing the problem, it made things go efficiently!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
