[English] Do I need coax cables for ziggo setup?

Hi everyone.

I am considering changing to Ziggo from KPN.

I currently have 2 kpn boxes on 2 TVs, and both use Network cat-5 cables. So everything, internet and TV runs on a normal data network.

Unfortunately some time ago I had to remove Coaxial cables.

Does Ziggo modern setup require Coaxial cables or are there some media boxes that can be set up with Network cables alone? Will I have any problems if I change to Ziggo?

hello

yes since not so long ago ziggo standardly uses a mediabox next mini which no longer requires coax cabled and only ethernet/wifi

The modem / router still needs the Coaxial cables, Ziggo delivers the internet with coax.

If necessary, you can order up to 3 Next minis, all trough CAT cables or wifi.

Thanks! Luckily I still have coax on the technical cabinet, although not close to the TVs. Will opt for the

mini mediabox
