Check on the APN settings on an iPhone running IOS 18.4

I would like to be able to check if my iPhone settings are still up to date, especially APN settings and general Mobile Services settings. My iPhone is running IOS 18.4.

Always a good idea to check the APN settings. The APN settings for mobile phone usage need to be registered in the following way.

Mobile data

APN = live.vodafone.com

Username = vodafone

MMS

APN = <empty>

Username = <empty>

Password = <empty>

MMSC = <empty>

MMS Proxy = <empty>

MMS Max Message Size = <empty>

MMS UA Prof URL = <empty>

Personal hotspot

APN = live.vodafone.com

Username = vodafone

Password = ***** <-- ?

Is'n there there a tool/ script that is able to set/check the right options on the customer device?

Hi,

There is no tool, normally you can reset your network settings and it goes back to the standard settings, otherwise you could use the ones given here.

You don't need a password (leave it empty)
When you get a new great Apple update (iOS 19), your phone will automatically see if your settings ar good. Otherwise you get a sms pop-up from Vodafone with information to change it (and that is automatically too).
